Uh Oh

So alright, I've done one successful instant induction but im still a bit hesitant to try them. My one big concern is, what if it doesnt work? If they dont go into trance what do you do and how do you get over that initial embarrasment/loss of confidence that probably just happened to the subject?

I'm a beginner myself, and I have to admit. The first time I tried it, was hilarious. I got the person into a light trance, however I didn't go through the deepening process and the person woke up and said, "Well that was useless" and felt like nothing happened. Luckily somebody was video taping it and showed him that he was sleeping for a good 10 minutes and didn't realize it.

The 2nd time I hypnotized somebody, after remembering to deepen, had him thinking that Brad pitt walked into the Tim Hortons (Aye, I'm Canadian) and believed my head was on fire and had him dancing to "What is Love" inthe middle of the store, again, quite amusing.

The 3rd and 4th time.. Nothing.. it didn't work. 5th, it was working beautifully.

What you need to remember (and maybe I was one of the lucky ones) Is at the beginning (And this is with any subject) You need to start small. If it doesn't work, don't fret. The main thing is that you continue to practice, but remain confident! If you are not confident, then their sub conscience will pick up on this.

I suggest watch some videos. Watch Paul McKenna, Anthony Galie, Dan Lornitis, Derren Brown or Anthony Cools. If you notice, they all use different techniques and different vocal tones, Some very quick and aggressive, some very slow and passive. The technique also depends on what your own personality is as well.
