... and WHERE can I take Stage Hypnosis classes! I don't want videos. Doing instant inductions per videos hasn't seem to consistently add up, even with rapport and permissions. I can't imagine the problems putting together entire Stage productions if I'm not versed in getting out of the first seat.

Rich, Great examples that Dave Elman gives. That's true, if you can get somnambulism while working with a client's eyes open, you are more skilled than most. Sounds like a challenge to me, I'll have to test this out more :)

Dave Elman once said that you could tell a really good hypnotist when he could work well with his clients while their eyes were open. As stated before, just about anything can be a deepener. You really have to have the confidence of your "subjects" because if they feel you're not confident in what you are doing...things usually don't go well. Fractionation isn't always necessary ...especially with stage hypnosis ...I use it but it's more for the audience...they get a kick out of watching people pop ope their eyes and then drop them again. I think many of us here would be able to better assist you if you can provide a video of what you are doing...then we can let you know what works and doesn't.

Hello.i went to a stage show last night. And he used just like a deep breathing induction. And he was talking saying relax.

He didnt use fractionation and took them to a very deep trance all of them. How can i get that? He even had all of them with their eyes open. And they all were still in trance. How does that work?

Hey hey, everyone,

I have never done stage/entertainment hypno, but been to some really fun shows over the years and am interested in the topic. I have a sense that I could be good at it as I'm generally pretty good at improvising and connecting verbally with people. So I'll probably mostly lurk here and learn from you all and possibly post a question or two from time to time. thanks in advance,
