Even on street hypnosis, I always do the test for amnesia from the Elman induction (After an instant induction). But what happens, or why? when they relax the numbers, I still ask them to deepen the trance and the I just can't achieve any kind of amnesia???

Makes sense thanks. You could have an assistant help. Has anyone seen the stage hypnotist Marc sevard and his rapid induction video using the hand shake bypass of the critical path where he drops people to the floor. Very dramatically for possible street application. Any views on street use and then first suggestion tests?

hayy guys i agree with HypnoRich - where possible ask them to take a seat 1. for safety and 2. they will be already more relaxed so it COULD help.

people can fall off their chair as easily as falling over standing and thank god this has never happened to me but to ensure it doesnt you could say 'you will be able to stand perfectly when this happens' or 'sleep you can stand' or 'and as you stand there now, like a tree routed in soil' what ever works best for you ... same for seated inductions 'you will remain safely on your chair when this happens' or 'and as you sit there now like a statue (with a seatbelt/safetly belt)' or what ever works best for you.

i personally have never taken someone to the floor in a street demonstation because its a personal preference for safety reasons - however the dropp back induction is my prefered method in a controlled stage or private party setting.

but to the point - i use handshake interupt, hand to face OR butterfly induction...BUT i must be honnest, sometimes i do just say 'close your eyes and sleep' and then deepen it for a few seconds and it works wonders.

Well, it always looks "great" when you put someone into a trance while standing but, honestly ...I always have them sit down whenever possible just for safety sake. I mean, I'm a pretty big guy and can handle it when someone falls against me or in my arms but people can just drop...their legs just collapse and you could have someone just getting hurt when it's least expected. Just my personal preference ...have them sit unless you have all your bases covered. :)

hey guys which rapid induction is preferred for street performers? I use the hand shake?? do you always stand up have them sit down for balance
