Progressive relaxation might be easier for a beginner, but personally I like the Dave Elman induction much, much better. Your mileage may vary. I agree with what Jason said about how most people jump right into instants and rapids, not completely understanding what they're about.

I'm about to set up the pre-order page for our upcoming course though, so you guys will have no excuse not to completely understand rapids/instants :)

To truly understand hypnosis, it's best to start with progressive relaxation. It may look easier but its really not. Some people jump right into rapid inductions cause thats all the want to learn and then they don't know why it's not working. Well that's because you skipped the true meaning of hypnosis and you probably are missing out on a lot of terminology too.

Answering your question in the chat...you want to say SLEEP just loud enough so they can hear, not to soft and not to loud either. juuuuust right.

Notes?! R U SERIOUS?! Haha, JK...Thats actually a really good suggestion.
I've actually read some stuff on this forum already.
Why do you say to learn about progressive inductions first? It seems like the rapid ones would be easier?
