Do I have permission to hypnotize you?
Will you do everything I ask you to do?
Good, I want you to do everything I ask you to do …don’t try to anticipate
anything, merely follow my words as they come out, alright?
You have a great opportunity here, you can everything I ask you to do and you
may very well be able to have whatever troubles you corrected.
You see, if you do everything that I ask you to do, I feel very confident that
I can help you.
If you do not do everything I ask you to do, there is nothing I can do for you.
I can’t twist your arm and make it happen.
Take in a nice deep breath and hold it, now exhale and close your eyes down and let yourself
begin to relax very deeply. Place your awareness on your eyelids. Now, relax
those eyelids completely to point that you know they’re so relaxed that they
just wouldn’t work unless you removed that relaxation.
And when you know that those eyelids are so relaxed that they just won’t work,
I want you to hold on to that relaxation and give them a good test. Make sure
they won’t work. And test them hard when you’re ready, don’t fool around with
it. Good test, alright. That’s fine now, stop testing.
Send that same feeling in your eyes to the top of your head and imagine it like
a warm wave of relaxation flowing right down your body from the top of your
head to the very tips of your toes. Great.
Now, let’s really deepen the physical relaxation.
In a moment, I’m going to ask you to open and close your eyes. When you close
your eyes, let this relaxation come in much more.
Open your eyes, and close them …go way
down, don’t hold back. You got it.
Now in a moment, we’ll do that again …and this time when you close your
eyes, really just turn yourself loose and go way down.
Open your eyes, and close them …way down
now, really let go. This is your time, this is your place, let it all go.
Now in a moment, we’ll do that just one more time. Now, again when you close
your eyes, just let this physical part of you go totally loose, limp, and
Open your eyes, Close them down. Go way
down now, completely let go.
Tour your body now and if there is any portion of your body that is tense in
anyway, just let that part of you go loose, limp and relaxed.
Now, if you followed these simple instructions for physical relaxation, we have
all we need.
But, let me see if you’ve done that. Here’s what we’ll do …
In a moment, I’m going to lift your right hand by the wrist – not very high,
just a couple of inches.
Now, if you followed these instructions, when I lift your wrist, that whole
hand and arm will feel so deeply relaxed, it’ll feel as though I’m lifting a
soaking wet dish rag or like a piece of lead, marble or stone. And when I
release it, it’ll just “plop” down. And I want you to let it.
And when that happens, you just use that arm dropping down to help you relax
Now, don’t you help me lift that arm. You know you can lift it any time you
want but, you also know that in order to do that, you must remove the
relaxation you are now allowing. Let me do all the lifting.
And when the hand “plops” down, just imagine yourself drifting much more
relaxed. Here we go.
(Lift the wrist and do not continue until
you get the desired results!) Wonderful. Way down.
Now, we have all the physical relaxation we need but what I would really like you to do is allow your mind to relax as well as the body because when your mind is
relaxed, then you have the ability to help yourself change anything about
yourself. Physically, mentally and spiritually. And you can become whatever you
really want to be.
Let me help you get the mental relaxation. Here’s what we’re going to do.
In a moment, I’m going to ask you to slowly
begin to count out loud backwards starting with the number 100. After each
number, just double that mental relaxation. Just let it grow twice as calm and
safe. Now, if you do this, you’re going to discover that by the time you reach
the number 98 or EVEN SOONER,
you will have relaxed your mind so beautifully, so totally, so completely, you
will have actually relaxed all of the rest of the numbers that would be there,
right out of your mind. And when that happens, and when you have that beautiful
relaxation of the mind, just notice how beautiful, how perfect it feels.
Just start with the idea of wanting that to happen and watch how very easy it
is for you to do.
Alright, slowly now, begin slowly counting out loud backwards, starting with
the number 100 and double that relaxation each time.
(100) – Now double that relaxation
and let them grow dim and distant.
(99) – Wonderful. Double that
relaxation…they’re almost gone now.
(98) – Now, dispel them, banish them.
You can do this, I can’t do this for you. Push ‘em out now. Just make them go
away….(pause) all gone? Good. Mind relaxed, and the body is relaxed. Notice how
the mind and body can continue to relax with every gentle breath you take. It’s
certainly not because I say it but because it’s the natural ability and desire
of your mind to enjoy the wonderful, positive feelings that complete mental
relaxation allows it to have. But this is just kind of the beginning of our
journey. I’d like to see if you’d allow yourself to relax even more. So, I’m
going to just count down from 10 to 1and with each number I say, see if you can
allow yourself to relax even a little bit more. So, as I count from 10 down to
1, let me help you to go even deeper. Here we go…
10…9…8….7…..6…..deeper……..5……..4..and …3……..2…and 1. That’s fine. You’re doing well.
Just keep it happening.
Now, there’s three more levels of relaxation I would like to see you allow
yourself have today.
For lack of a better term, why don’t we just call them level A, B, and C?
In order to get to level A, all you have to do is double the relaxation you
have right now.
In order to get to level B, all you have to do is double the relaxation you
have in level A
and in order to get to level C, your very basement of relaxation, all you have
to do is double what you have in level B.
Now, to help you with this, if it’s safe for you, I would like you imagine or
visualize, whichever is easier for you, you’re at the top of your own private
escalator. In a moment I’ll count to three and tap you on the hand, and when I
do, your escalator will begin taking you down to level A. Now, this is your
That means it can be as long or as short as you need it to be. It can go as
fast or as slow as you need it to go. But, when you get to the bottom, you will
have doubled your relaxation. You let me know that you’ve down this by saying
the letter A out loud. Alright, here we go, 1-2-3 (tap the hand) All the way down now to level A. (Pause) Good.
Find yourself at the top of the escalator again. In a moment, at the count of
three, it’ll take you back down again to level B, where you will have doubled
your relaxation again. Now, if you’re following these instructions, when you
reach level B, you will have relaxed the muscles of you body so completely, you
probably will have relaxed the vocal chords so deeply, you may find it almost
impossible or extremely difficult to even say the letter B and that’s good. That’s what we’re looking for. But try to
say it anyway.
Here we go, 1-2-3 (tap wrist) Here we go now, all the way down….to level B. (pause and
Now, there’s only one more level of relaxation that I’d like you to allow
yourself to have and that’s level C. Now, when you get there, it will be at
least double of what you have now. But, there’s really no “basement” of
relaxation. That’s just a concept that we have because our human minds can only
think this way. Your relaxation will be at least double but, if you want to
allow it, you could easily go hundreds of times deeper. No restrictions….just
let it come in perfectly.
Alright, here we go …on the count of three, the escalator brings all the way
down to level C.
Here we go, 1-2-3. All the way down to level C. To the basement. Deeper …deeper
down …..down ….down …….down …………..down.
Now, continue to let yourself relax with every breath. And allow the sound of my voice to help and guide you into relaxing.
(At this time you should test for “coma
state” catalepsy, as well as, natural anesthesia)
(You could also shout “Wake Up” and the
client should not even respond)
Now, you’re doing really, really well. But now, I have something that I’d like
you to do that’s really going to be wonderful.
The first thing is that I’d like you to just let this physical part of you to
continue to relax.
And you’re always going to be aware of the sounds around you, maybe cars
passing, coughing, barkings, whatever. These are just comfortable reminders
that everything is just normal around you. And the only sound that you will
find yourself really focused on is the sound of my voice. And the sound of my
voice can always help you to relax much more.
I’m going to count from one up to ten. As I do, we’re going to take this
beautiful mind of yours and we’re going to begin to move it higher into another
place. The body will remain perfectly still and quiet, comfortable and healing
just because of the deep relaxation. But, as the mind begins to move higher,
you’ll notice it begins to feel better and better. So, let’s begin this
beautiful journey together …and I will always be with you. We’ll make this trip
together. Here we go now.
1 – Now imagine your mind leaving the
body and instantly, as it does, your mind begins to expand and become free.
2 and 3 – moving and lifting and rising. Just so comfortable, so peaceful. You
can already begin to feel the joy come into you.
4 and 5 – as your mind expands into the molecules of the universe all around
6 – higher now, you feel wonderful!
7-moving and lifting and rising.
9-you feel wonderful now.
10. Rest and enjoy ….
Now, at this particular plateau in your mind, I want you to look over there to
your left and notice a chest, it looks like an old pirate’s chest. And it’s
opened. At this point, I just want you to go ahead, just for now,
I want you to just deposit at this point any and all negative thoughts or fears
into that chest, you don’t need them, you can even pick them back up later if
you so wish. Just for now, throw them into that chest. Let them go. And now
when you’ve done that, just slam the chest cover down and we’ll deal with
these, if you’d like to, later. That’s great.
Now, once again, I’m going to count from one up to ten. Now that you’ve gotten
rid of those negative thoughts …just watch how effortlessly, how beautifully
your mind can rise above …even higher.
1-You leave this level now and again we’re moving and lifting and rising.
2 and 3 – your mind is expanding out all around, it’s free like a child in a
4 and 5 – Higher and higher as all parts of the mind dance on clouds freely and
6 and 7 – Higher, freer, you just feel wonderful.
8 and 9 – floating and feeling the joy coming in already.
10. And Rest at this beautiful, beautiful middle level.
Just feeling so alive, so pleasant, so joyful ..you just feel great. Good.
Now, we’re going to go up to another level as I count from one to ten. Let the
mind go. Any restraints are not necessary. It’s time for total freedom …here we
1 – Moving and lifting again off this
level. Soaring like a white dove into beautiful blue skies.
2 and 3-As your mind floats effortlessly, freely …as if it’s made out of pure
4 and 5 – Higher now, higher…let it go! Watch it go like a balloon released
into a beautiful sky.
6 and 7 – Almost at the next level, you just feel great.
8 – 9 – and 10. You’re free, you’re alive and you feel so good. Just rest a
Now, in a moment we’re going to go up just one more level. This will bring you to a very special place that’s just uniquely yours. It’s truly your place. No one
else can go there but you. All of us have this place but it’s unique and
different. It’s safe, it’s beautiful, it’s full of love, it’s full of joy and
totally full of happiness. Things will become available to you that you never,
ever thought possible before. And it’s all positive. Let’s begin this final
journey …feel it, love it …enjoy every moment of it. Here we go.
1 – Leaving this level and soaring
effortlessly, gravity does not exist.
2 and 3 – Moving and lifting and rising.
4 – Higher and higher …higher than any airplane could fly.
5 and 6 – To your very special place that was made for you and you alone.
7 – We’re almost there ..
8 …9 ….10. There you are. Surrounded by
the joy that’s always been with you but is so difficult to find. It’s a
beautiful, beautiful place. Fear could not even begin to exist. It’s just pure
love, pure happiness. Pure peace, pure tranquility. All discomfort of the
physical is left DOWN where we began this journey. You’re free of all
discomfort of human life and you’re just in a place of bliss.
Listen, maybe you can began that which is around you but not part of you. And
whatever it is you hear, you can be assured that it’s all love for you. That
it’s all help for you. And you can call on that anytime you’d like.
Now, in a moment, I’m going to give you just a little period of silence.
During that period of silence, watch what you can do. You will be absolutely
amazed. You can literally tour your mind, the mental part, and you can also
tour that physical part. You can look in every nook and cranny of the mind and
body and discover that which troubles you. And I’m going to give you this
period of silence and during that period of silence I want you to take this
little journey of discovery …and when you discover whatever it is that’s
troubling you, just let me know by raising this finger (touch a finger of the client) right here. Alright, you’re going to
find this so easy to do as the period of silence begins right now.
(Pause and wait for response from
Great. Wonderful. That was pretty positive. Alright, I don’t have any need to
know what this is that you’ve discovered. Frankly, it’s none of my business.
But, I’m going to give you another period of silence. During this period of
silence, go back in and discover that you have the ability to correct that
which troubles you. The power of yourself and that which surrounds you at this
time is awesome.
So, when this period of silence begins, go back and discover if right now, you
have the ability to correct that particular problem. When you discover the
answer to that question …if it is a yes, you’ll lift THIS finger, if the answer
is no, you’ll lift THIS finger. Alright, your period of silence begins once
more right now.
(Pause and wait for response from
Now, here’s the good part. Get ready. One time more I’m going to give you a
moment of silence. During this period of silence, go back inside yourself.
Bring any help that you feel you need that’s now available to you. It’s time
now to take back control of your life. It’s time now to take back pure,
unadulterated health. So you can have a long, beautiful happy life. And that
period of silence will begin in a moment when you’ve corrected the problem, let
me know by simply lifting THIS finger. Here we go, the period of silence begins
right now. Go get that…go fix that…make yourself whole.
(Pause and wait for response from

Wonderful. Rest Now. Just Rest. You’re working hard.
It’s at this time, if you’ve had any help, it’s time to Thank that help and
more importantly, to send that help absolute pure love and thanks. They’re
always there for you – They can always help you.
Now, I just want you to rest in quiet. You’ve experienced something wonderful,
you’ve done amazing things. Let your mind grow calm. Rejuvenate…take a few
Now, one last time, I am going to give you a period of silence. During this period of silence, go back inside yourself …this is just for you. Go back inside yourself
and notice…just relish in discovering that which was troubling you is now truly
Just take that trip one more time, show yourself, take a look around where that
problem was and notice how it’s just not there. It can’t hurt you anymore. It’s
been corrected. Go ahead and enjoy it during that period of silence that you
have right now. Once you’ve had this

Alright, now I want you to say your goodbyes to that which may have helped you
and again send love and thanks to them.
Now I’m going to count from ten down to one. By the time I count to the number
one, we’re going to be at the very first level where that pirate’s chest was.
Here we go….
10 – Leaving here now
9 -8 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1.
Here we are at that first level. Now, there’s that pirate’s chest, That chest
is full of negativity maybe negative thoughts…now you’ve got a choice, you can
scoop it up and bring it back with you, or you can kick off the ledge where it
falls into oblivion. Your choice.
Now as I count from 10 down to one, we’re going to bring this physical and
mental part together. They will become one and become even much more deeply
10 – 9 – 8 – 7 – 6 -5 – 4 – 3 - 2 – 1
Mind and body become one again.
Now in a moment I’m going to count from one up to five.
At the count of five or before, your eyes will open and you’ll be fully alert.
Remembering everything you’ve done, every place you’ve been very clearly and
with great detail. And you’re going to feel great!
Here we go…
1 – Coming Up Now
2 – 3- 4- 5! Open those eyes, take a nice deep breath, fill up your lungs and stretch!
Well, how are you feeling? Surprised yourself didn’t you?
