Why Do They Follow Me??? *Technique To Make Anyone Follow You*

Hello! My first official blog post on Tranced Out...so.....Ahem Ahem!

I started out on hypnosis since I was 9, but didn't know anything about Western-style hypnosis (I got trained in the Traditional Mayang way), till the day I stumbled upon a self-hypnosis book in the railway station. Ever since that book came into my life, I have been meeting trying to gather up as many hypnotists as I can.

As I started out, I didn't meet much of any "hypnotists" from my own city. I was studying it on my own. After a few months however, I met a guy named Amlan in the place where I was given my traditional lessons on "yoga nidra" (indian term for hypnosis). He was just like me, except that he was really experienced at western style hypnosis. We got together and he used to help me with the study materials. He was kinda like the 'cool guy' with all the girls running around him around the clock.

Well, one day when we were discussing about the possible uses of covert hypnosis while talking to girls (well it's not wrong to discuss, is it!? ^_~), he went on about how and why girls hang out mostly in groups with ferocious attitudes, enough to bite a guy's head off. Well, he seemed an expert on that topic....Anyway, he taught me this simple technique to separate a person from a group. This works for any person, guy or gal.

The technique is really too simple and rather embarrassing. However, I still can't find out why the heck it even works so good!

The technique is as follows:
  1. Gain Rapport with the group. This is obvious of course! *Skip this step if you're already a part of the group or know the group.
  2. Stand beside the person you want to separate and come with you; and discuss about the topic going on WITH THE WHOLE GROUP.
  3. Call your target from behind (preferably by touching on the shoulder) and say something like "Follow Me!"
  4. Turn around and go to the place where you want the target to come and DO NOT LOOK BACK TILL YOU HAVE REACHED THE SPOT! 99% of the people WILL follow you!
Well how simple was that! In a single line, just call from behind, ask to follow, turn around, go to the spot and DON'T DARE TO LOOK BACK!

I have tried this many times and it has worked most of the time. Failed only in 2 cases, where they were about to follow me but someone called them from behind and I had to stop! X-(

Simple but effective!

But, Here's what I wanna know:

I have tried it in different variations but I just don't know the answer to it! So, Please HELP!!!!

Thank You!

They follow you because they want to see what you want, and think you are moving away from the crowd so you can have a conversation and both of you can hear better.

Another phrase that will work as well is: Its almost time, come and check it out. When they follow and finally ask "time for what?", you tell them "it's time we got to know each other better."

Just my thoughts

Thanks John! Well I suppose it's curiosity at work here!

Yeah that phrase should work perfectly. It creates more curiosity than "Follow me"...

Anyway, Thanks!! ^_^

This works a treat and may I suggest you look into the way PUA's use the same sort of technique.  Mystery and Style were excellent at using this.

I am not to sure that this is full blown hypnosis. It is a command and social cues predicts that the person will follow- one can however use this as the first stage in street hypnosis. One will now automatically have the subject's intent to follow your commands. The next line might be something like - I want to show you something really cool!
And then follow with an instant induction.

If the subject followed you in the first instance, their curiosity is already tickled, you have their attention and they are not under pressure from the group to up their guardian if you start with the induction. The hypnotist will also not be under so much pressure to perform - if the subject does not follow or the induction fails - just move on.
